Place is a ghost town... so quiet. Good place to read a book.

COVID-19 precautions were well done. It really helped checking in online the day before. Security was swift. They really need better food options though.

Great airport very clean and well organized. Covid rules very visible and easy to follow. Workers friendly including the cbsa

This a beautiful and calm part of the Vancouver airport. There are a lot of shops and restaurants open late at night. There is a great children’s area near gate 53. It has a play equipment and children’s movie area. There is a beautiful aquarium with sea urchin, starfish, and large fish. There are lovely indigenous art throughout the space.

Rating is based on many airports around the world. Arrived into the Domestic Terminal around 11am. It was pretty basic and okey specifically when compared to Toronto- YYZ!!

Huge airport that was able to handle all the people in a very organized way. We got through rather quickly and on to the hotel. Nice artwork to keep you entertained. Getting a cab was the most difficult part of the day and the cost to downtown was rather high. Remember to check the exchange rate for US dollars

Is it really international Airport? Everything was closed, No TIM Horton or Cafe... Parking too lacking clarity to park or go.

N7ce and clean though empty by "normal" standards. Still a few places to grab a coffee or bite to eat just understand that you might have to stand in line for a bit.

Great experience with the West Jet team as always, was travelling with pets usually it's difficult. We had to go through check bag services because we had pets with us. We got checked in quick, taken care of quick.The security team made it a seamless and painless experience and handled us with care.We were given additional assistance to find out gate and relax before flight.Boarding was great, we got in settled and the West jet team made sure our cats were comfortable

I love our airport for the friendly people, the efficiency and the artwork throughout. It is a pretty place. Although the airport is growing rapidly and is quite big, there is always a small town feel to it. Beautiful. My only disappointment is the restaurants and cafes could be so much better! We are a culinary capital and it should reflected at the airport.

Vancouver is smaller than Pearson but not by much. It has massive potential as Air Canada's hub to trans-Pacific flights. There is that charming West Coast feel as I walked through the carpeted corridors. Although many shops were closed during my layover and it was quiet overall, I am sure this place has been well-used during it's heyday and I look eager for a return soon!

One can see the impact of covid here these days. Lots of parking space empty. Not many people around. Hopefully it will be back to the grace like before.

I have been working there since 1996. I love the place. I have been fortunate to have work with some great people at YVR over the years.

This is a big airport. I love the all the artwork. The airport is built very smartly. Easy to navigate. Love the floor to ceiling windows to see the airplanes. Long term parking is a long walk away, depending how packed the parking lot is. You can only quickly drop off and pick up people near the entrances as staff is there to make sure you get going. You can be ticketed also. I've been at this airport many times to both fly and pick up friends/family. This is one of my favorite airports. Pretty much every flight to where you wanna go, leaves here. Complete international airport. Did I mention it's a big airport?

I love the warm, cozy feel of YVR. Upon arriving at immigration, you're welcomed with a waterfall, warm blue carpet and totem poles. The feeling of calmness is also shown with the quick and efficient immigration lines. By answering a few questions of the machine, you can proceed easily. If you are departing, security is also above average. The tranquil nature of Vancouver is also present here with coin ponds and a large fish tank. The terminal can be easily navigated. However, I did find the amount of stores and places to get a quick bite much more limited here compared to other airports. Overall, great airport though

If you are either a passenger or an employee, this airport never fails to impress its professional well layed out design. It helps passengers get to where they need to be quickly with allowances for hospitality. It also helps employees navigate employee only and passenger areas with ease. Great airport for efficiency, cleanliness and effective service.

Love this airport! Best in Canada! One of the best in the world!

An exceptionally well finished and appointed airports, one of the nicest I’ve visited, particularly the International Departures wing. Well worth arriving early to decompress and enjoy all that there is to see and do. There is extensive shopping including everything from groceries to Cartier, numerous lounges and restaurants and two priority pass lounges that are as above average as the rest of that wing of the airport.

Smooth pedestrian departures, clean washrooms, masks worn by everyone.

Attocious. No amenities open. Zero restaurants. Even airline personnel met you with. we're closed. Not an airport as much as a building with seats.

During COVID it's safe to travel. The airport is very well maintained and the staff is very friendly and everyone is taking precautions with masks and gloves along with hand sanitizer everywhere.

Wonderful friendly staff. Many helpful staffs at info desk, restaurant, shops. Very well maintained airport.

I do not have good experience at this airport not only the facility is not comfortable to take rest but not too many you can find. The only good is they have some play ground for kids. As a international airport they can much better.

We were at Vancouver International Airport twice in the summer of 2019. We liked the staff and facilities of this the second busiest airport in Canada. Upon arrival we had a smooth check out as some of the procedures were automated. We found our way to the Harbour Air pick-up point where a bus took us to the Harbour Air float plane terminal at Richmond. Our departure by Cathay Pacific to Hong Kong was also pleasant even though we arrived at the airport two hours early. There was a food court and lounge where we had our dinner. The waiting area was well decorated and furnished with some local motifs and totems.

The airport is clean and relatively quiet. We had a late-night layover and were pleased to find the Booster Juice, Subway and Tim Hortons all were open.

Vancouver International Airport (YVR) is one of the main airports of Canada and in British Columbia! I stopped at this airport for a layover a decade ago, and the airport was great with varieties of shops and services! Nice and courteous staffs! Very spacious and tidy! Organized! Professional service! 👍

Super quiet just few people inside and keep announcing to where 🎭 inside the airport plus hand sanitizer are everywhere 👍.

I'm giving this "international" airport two stars for being warm, dry, and secure. 2:30 in the afternoon after traveling across Canada and nearly everything is closed. It literally looks like a ghost town. There are no information agents to help you, just a questionable community telephone on which you can spin the wheel of disease for assistance, in the midst of a GLOBAL PANDEMIC.The one burger joint that is open has arrows for direction and markings for social distancing while ordering; however, they are only there to confuse the wary traveler; you actually line up from the other side and stand close together.Vancouver "International" Airport social distancing is to close off 1/3 of the food court to have everyone as tightly packed as possible. Absolutely brilliant.

Came here on a connection to Los Angeles on Air Canada. Arrived here from Calgary. Besides from some of the long lineups the airport has great food options to offer, and has also got convenient signs to help navigate you through the terminal. Also has excellent views of the downtown. Nice experience overall.

Very upset about the outrageous parking situation at Vancouver International Airport. We were leaving for six days and expected to leave our car in long-term parking. Not only was the long-term lot closed, but we had to park in the short term lot with no apparent plan in place to provide long-term parking rates. I have called Vancouver Airport Customer Service 3 times and have yet to receive a return call. Very poor management and lack of planning ahead as to how to make the airport as user friendly as possible.

Your satellite image is not accurate they have 2 major runways and a larger hub. Your picture is from the 60's. I know because I flew out of there.

I only use it for domestic flight and it was pretty good experience, but all the information desks were closed due to covid19.

You can smoke weed legally at this airport, it's great!

Covid has made the airport an actually pleasant experience. No long lines, not noisy, anyone who is there is there for a good reason

Super empty at the moment. Note that the location for the gates has changed. Departure gate (c&d) for international is more towards the pre-covid domestic gate now. Parking also has changed. Please remember your level when you exit, we didn't and it took a while... Instead of being funnel to the parking level as before, you will be parked instead at the " arrival" level.

Well maintained and clean. Access to trains and shuttles, taxis etc made very easy. The exit is a little confusing and during COVID times, can improve on signages or assistance of customer support internally. Travellers buy food before boarding or you are guaranteed to be looking for every kiosk and snacking on unhealthy food.

the border costume agents always on m y case and pull me aside and check my logage and look into my phone, after they come back checking inside my phon, contact picture and etc they always came back withb a big smile and they let me Go, I always smile when I look into my too.some thing unfortunate happened to me to get to the position I am in and they just following the protocols and guideline. you might experience some difficulties sometimes with them but if you are honest and cool headed they are understanding. the best way too be just be polite and dont take any thing personally and they are so much better than the American.the airpot is very nice too

I go here when I want to fly somewhere. They seem to always be doing construction on the parking. This has to be one of the nicest airports I've flown into and out of. The food area post security has really gotten better. The addition of the skytrain service is nice. I have nexus and never really have to wait in line when going through security.

This airport is amazing. It looks great, very modern on the inside and the trip through security is perfect.

The airport is easy to navigate with helpful and friendly staff. It's perfectly clean, modern and child-friendly. However, there could be more shops and a wider range of restaurants.

Staff are doing a great job accommodating and enforcing COVID masking requirements.

One of the busiest airports in North America. A big gateway to flights to Asia and Oceania. Also a lot of flights to Canada, the US, and elsewhere.The size of the airport is well-equipped to facilitate it's daily need in handling passengers. The stores and restaurants are excellent. Sometimes you think you're at a mall instead of an Airport.It's one glitch is that it's missing an indoor bus system or cart system similar to that of Calgary that takes passengers from terminal to terminal. That would be a big help.

Covid19 travel: Airport facilities were very clean which was good. Security checkpoint for domestic travel however felt fairly busy and couldn't tell if I feel safe from the invisible enemy. Regardless, they let me take my time in putting my things my way on the belt without feeling pressured which was good.
